The “Creative Community Care” exhibit will open soon at the Olson Gallery (Bethel University, St Paul, MN). It will be on display from November 1 through December 15, 2024. The opening celebration at 6:00 PM CDT on Thursday, November 7, will feature a talk with co-curators Drs. Maria Liu Wong and Sarah Gerth van den Berg, and artists Julian Reid and Naomi Lawrence. There will also be a yarn circle workshop at 7:30 PM CDT with Naomi Lawrence.
The following day there will be a “Notes of Rest” retreat from 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM CDT with Julian Reid. Finally, an online workshop on December 9, 7:00 - 8:30 PM CDT, will feature spoken word artist Dr. Alysia Nicole Harris.
