This is a photo from the Boston Sankofa Journey Affinity Working Group’s first meeting in spring 2024. Led by Rev. Kelly Fassett and made up of local clergy and leaders, the group will be working to reconstruct a common memory on the history of slavery in Boston and identify a discipleship learning pathway with content and experiences that can contribute towards racial healing and shalom. It was a great start. They appreciate prayers for God’s wisdom and discernment over the team as they discern the path forward.
